Recipe Exchange for June!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Meet & Eat at my house last Wednesday! It was fun to chat w/everyone and exchange some ideas!

For the month of JUNE we are exchanging SALAD RECIPES! This can be a green salad, fruit salad, pasta salad, etc. We've had a couple requests for easy, fast recipes as well so keep that in mind. I don't know about you, but I'm really excited about getting some new salad recipes! Make sure you keep an eye on your email inbox this week OR if you haven't been getting the e-mail and would like to, please email me your email address at kylenekelly@gmail.com!

Also, from now we will forward our recipes onto everyone on the e-mail list. This means if everyone on the list participates, you'll get 10+ new recipes every month!

I'll also be posting a recipe on this blog and bringing index-size copies to church every month for those of you that don't have internet access.

Here's the salad recipe I'm putting in the e-mail:

CHINESE CHICKEN SALAD
Han's recipe

Dressing:
1/4 cp oil
2 TB white or cider vinegar
2 TB sugar
1 tsp accent
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/4 tsp dry mustard
2 TB sesame seeds

Salad:
1 head lettuce, broken up
4 cooked chicken breasts, shredded or cut into pieces
4 green onions, chopped
3 TB chopped almonds
12 fried wonton skins, crushed

Put all dressing ingredients into a container and mix thoroughly. Put in fridge to chill. Add salad ingredients together. Spread dressing over salad, toss, and serve!
